ITINERARY 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS

Cabins: Typical style of the region.
Facilities: Private Bathroom, warm shower and mosquito net.
Electricity: Solar panel system.
Guide: Naturalist guide.

DAY 1

On the first day, we will transport you from Lago Agrio to the Cuyabeno Reserve Entrance by bus and then from the Cuyabeno Entrance to the Lodge by Canoe and the Expedition will start with the first animals that we will observe near the Cuyabeno River.
At night, we will have dinner and we will go for an exciting Night Walk.

DAY 2

After Breakfast, we will do a three hour hike in the primary forest to learn about flora and fauna, including lessons in the use of plants for survival.
Late afternoon, we will relax and get to see the sunset at Laguna Grande with a chance for some refreshing swimming and caiman (alligator) searching.

DAY 3

On third day, after Breakfast, we will start a Canoe ride down the river of one hour and a half to a Siona indigenous community to interact and learn about their traditions and customs by making some local manioc bread. Then, we will visit a Shaman to learn about his secrets and ancestral knowledges of shamanism.
At night, we will enjoy watching hundreds of different insects around the Lodge.

DAY 4

Early morning, we will do bird watching from a 25 meters high tower. After breakfast, we will journey up Cuyabeno River to the Reserve Entrance. We will transport you back to Lago Agrio (we will arrive to Lago Agrio in the afternoon).

ITINERARY 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

DAY 1

Lago Agrio to the Lodge
On the first day, we will transport you from Lago Agrio to the Cuyabeno Reserve Entrance by bus and then from the Cuyabeno Entrance to the Lodge by Canoe and the Expedition will start with the first animals that we will observe near the Cuyabeno River…
At night, we will have dinner and we will go for an exciting Night Walk.

DAY 2

On second day, Three hour hike in the primary forest to learn about flora and fauna, including lessons in the use of plants for survival.
Late afternoon, Relax, sunset at Laguna Grande with a chance for some refreshing swimming and caiman (alligator) searching.

DAY 3

On third day, in the morning: An hour and a half boat rides down the river to a Siona indigenous community to interact and learn about their traditions and customs by making some local food. After a visit to a shaman to learn about his secrets about the ancestral knowledge of shamanism. At night we enjoy watching hundreds of different insects coming to special lamps connected to solar system to attract them.

DAY 4

Morning: paddle by traditional dug-out canoe through small canals to enjoy the peaceful and quiet surroundings while looking for wild life around. Late afternoon: watching last sunset at the Laguna Grande.
