Nearby the Andean Mountains, there is an emerald color lagoon, located inside a volcano crater with a height of 3800 meters above sea level (12467 ft /3800 m) named Quilotoa. You will pass through Zumbahua canyon and tons of indigenous towns & farmlands. You will have a visit to Saquisili on Thursdays or Pujili on Sunday’s indigenous markets. Before lunch, you will trek to the lagoon shore, where the guide will be telling about this place. Weather in the Quilotoa Lagoon is very unpredictable so we recommend being prepared with warm & waterproof clothing. Please be acclimatized around 3000m before taking this tour.
